Our purpose...

The purpose of this website is to provide a free auction house to existing players of Guild Wars.  Unfortunately, Guild Wars is one of the few online games that does not currently provide an in-game auction system for players to trade their items.  This means players often spend a great deal of their precious gaming time shouting in outposts to buy or sell their items. 

Unfortunately the lack of in-game auction house also means large guilds and alliances often see their chat windows filled with "want to buy" and "want to sell" messages.  This website is intended to help reduce the amount of trade spam by offering players an easier and less time consuming alternative for selling items in exchange for game gold or ectoplasm.

Our website is totally free to use, but even so we are always trying to improve the level of service we provide to you. We take your feedback seriously, so if you have any suggestions or feedback please contact us.

Who are we... 

If you are wondering who we are and where this site came from, we have taken the time to provide you with a bit of history about us and the people who helped us get here. 

First and foremost, it should be understood that the Guild Wars Auctions website is a form of unofficial fansite with no affiliation or relationship to Arenanet® or NCsoft corporation.  The lovely people at Arenanet work hard to provide us all with a superior gaming experience with their Guild Wars franchise, and we at Guild Wars Auctions seek to compliment this experience by providing free auction services to all players.

The services provided by this website are offered at a high quality to all our registered members at some considerable cost to ourselves, however, we are fortunate enough to be sponsored more than adequately to allow us to continue to provide services for the indefinate future.

The moderator and support team, who work behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, are all very hard working and dedicated Guild Wars players, all of whom have two years or more game-time under their belts.  There are many faces around the admin, moderator and support teams that you will get to know well, so rest assured you are in very good hands.

This website was originally created to support the largest player community in Guild Wars, the Guilds of the [KISS] Alliance.  After the [KISS] alliance moved on to other things, other guilds and alliances have since picked up the reins and made the site what it is today.
